Introduction (પ્રસ્‍તાવના):
The expanding horizons of education have led developing countries to become aware of various problems and focus on making the development journey easier and that is why practitioners are attracted towards new fields of computer education, population education, holiday education, environment education. At the time of designing the new curriculum, the curriculum developers have incorporated in the curriculum such units as the form, scope and scope of such new subjects. Environmental education is a topic that jointly points towards environmental conservation and human work for it. One has to deal directly or indirectly with many things around him. Some physical and some organic factors may be involved in this environment. In this world of human beings, the work of life has become easier and easier due to the movement of environment. As soon as the sun rises, the elements of the environment bring vitality to the co-operative conscious creation.
Due to the increase in population in the world and some missteps of human beings, the question of environment has become very difficult. The earth is home to animals and plants. In the year 19 at an international conference on curriculum reform in Hiroshima, Japan, Dr. Gunwant Shah presented a paper on "Gandhi and Global Peace" in which concerns were raised about four global problems, one of which is the imbalance with the environment (violence with nature). With the increasing pollution day by day, the opposite results have made people think. A conference in this regard was held in the year 2001. In which the motto of National Green Corps for maintaining environmental balance and public awareness was discussed. The Supreme Court of India has also expressed concern over the prevailing state of the environment and advocated for inclusion of environment as a subject in all types of courses. We are all part of the environment. Many environmental issues can be solved by changing our attitude towards the environment. Keep our area clean and conserve natural resources by reusing things. In a country with a population of 100 crore, this cannot be changed overnight. But society's behavior can be changed by children. Children are not selfish and can easily come up with new ideas. They are our future. Each child can have a significant impact on his or her family. Therefore, the Government of India has decided to set up Eco Clubs in all the districts of the country. Under this, secondary schools of the state are running the activities of this club. To make this program more expeditious and effective, the establishment of this in the primary schools of the state through GCERT will definitely help in accelerating the efforts to create awareness about nature and environment among the children and youth.
