Textbook ðŸ““ :
Textbooks are the only and most important tool for achieving the objectives of education. A textbook is a hard-core study medium for the achievement of certain types of educational objectives or a traditional printed or structured book of pictures and instructions that facilitate study activities. It is a resource from which students get ideas, find values, cultivate values, form trends, and establish beliefs with the little ones.

Students spend 80 to 95% percent of their time in the classroom with textbooks. While in the classroom the teacher spends 70 to 90%  percent of his time with textbooks. When the teacher conveys the content of the textbook to the mind of the student, indirectly many values, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, likes and dislikes also reach the mind of the student and some of them become permanent in the mind of the student. The student begins to behave and behave by following it.

Since the textbook is an important factor in educating the student holistically, the content of the textbook is expected to lead the student's mind and lead to neutral, creative, contemplative or critical thinking.
The curriculum is to provide specific information during certain months or years.
Advanced Meaning: "Curriculum is all general activities related to the experiences that are considered important for all students."

       Of these three, curriculum is of special importance: because without curriculum the teacher cannot teach properly and the students cannot receive proper education. Therefore, the structure of the curriculum is a tool for the holistic development of the child.

The curriculum is designed to achieve learning objectives.
The composition, organization and construction of the curriculum depend on the four main bases of the curriculum and its related principles.

The four main bases are: philosophical, psychoanalytic, social and scientific.

In a nutshell: "The curriculum structure is a structure designed for the purpose of teaching work by the teacher himself keeping in view the needs and expectations of the student as well as the society, using school resources and his own strengths."


The main role of textbooks is to strengthen the foundation of knowledge in the student and to arouse curiosity. At the same time he has to do both sedative and stimulant work: the student's reading should fit the gad of the subject in his mind and he should want to know and find out what could not be included in the textbook - what is not to be asked in the exam. The most characteristic feature of an ideal textbook is that no matter how weak the teacher may be, the student can enter into the subject only on the basis of the content of the textbook and can go deep into it.

Easy-to-digest language is one of the main things needed for a good textbook - and now rare. The task of writing textbooks is assigned only to those who have a fair academic qualification, but there is a good chance that the educational qualification will be considered as the final measure of skill. Degrees may be required for textbook writing, but not enough. How to write a good textbook only with academic qualification or scholarship.
