According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a very cool feature (WhatsApp New Feature) that will allow active members of the group to see older members in the group who have already left the group for some reason or are not part of it. This feature has been seen on the Android version (beta) of the messaging app v2.22.12.4.
The report also states that the feature is currently in the development stage, and will take some time to reach beta users. It is believed that the feature of leaving the group secretly will come for Android, iOS and desktop users.
