To increase the economic income of all the people of urban and rural areas of Gujarat whose annual income limit is up to Rs.120000 (1 lakh 20 thousand) for rural area and up to Rs.150000 (1 lakh 50 thousand) for urban development. Assistance is provided in the form of Friend Wise Tool Energy for Business.

- Online applications are invited from https://e-kutir.gujarat.gov.in/ dated 15/03/2020 to 15/05/2019 from the applicants who wish to avail benefits under the scheme and are eligible for the criteria laid down by the Government.
- An application for assistance in a human welfare scheme must be made online. The required documents along with the application will also have to be uploaded online. Incomplete application will be received at the office.

- The annual income of the applicant's family should not exceed 120,000 for rural area and 150,000 for urban area.
- The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years on the date of advertisement.
- In the previous year, the applicant or his family members should not have received such assistance from this department or any other department, agency or institution of the Government of Gujarat.
- The benefit of this scheme is available only to one person in the family at a time.
- Officers of the district office will have to show the original document for verification if required by the employee.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have undergone government approved training for that profession.

The scheme provides additional tools to the economically backward class to generate adequate income and self-employment, This scheme has been started from 11.09.1995 instead of the previous self employment scheme to improve the economic status of persons / artisans living below the poverty line.
To whom does Manav Kalyan Yojana 2022-23 apply?
This includes the weaker sections of the society who have a small annual trade / occupation in 28 types of occupations / trades like masonry, vegetable sellers, carpenters etc. whose annual family income is Rs. 1,20,000/ - and for urban area Rs. 1,50,000/ -. To help such people increase their financial income, the tools / equipment required for the business are provided within the assistance limit as per the list of toolkits included with the resolutions of 11.09.18.

Manav Kalyan Yojana Eligibility
Age Limit : 16 years to 60 years
Income Limit : It is mandatory for the beneficiaries of rural areas to be included in the poverty line list of the district rural development department. This beneficiary does not have to submit income proof. OR
The annual income of the applicant’s family should be up to Rs.1,20,000 / – for rural area and up to Rs.1,50,000 / – for urban area. In this regard, Taluka Mamlatdar or Nagarpalika Chief Officer or the authorized officer of the Municipal Corporation in the metropolitan areas will have to submit the income proof.
