The DEO-DPO in the district allows schools to hire traveling teachers on a temporary basis as per requirement.

The required amount for this scheme will have to be provided within the limits of the budget ceiling allotted to the department for the year 2022/23 under the relevant budget head. The government has sanctioned recruitment of 376 traveling teachers against a total of 653 demands for Std. 6th to 8th classes, i.e. against a total of 2696 vacancies across the state, the government has sanctioned 1549 vacancies.
