Sources said that after the elections, consideration is being given to take the unit test of students of Std 1 to 4 and declare the result based on it. In addition, the next academic session has also been announced to start early. This time even the summer vacation will not be extended to the students. However, no decision has been taken yet. Due to Corona, the government started online education in March 2020 by stopping offline education in schools and colleges. At that time, online education was given priority so that even the students of primary schools in the state would not be deprived of education. The government has announced to start classes 6 to 8 from February 18 after a long period of 10 months. With this, the government and the education department have started considering starting classes of Std 1 to 5 in March after the elections.
Online classes will continue for children who do not go to class
The state government has decided to reopen class 6 to 8 classrooms in primary schools in view of the long-term educational interest of the students as the transition to Koro has now slowed down following the intensive work of the state health department. Attendance in this offline direct education work will be voluntary and the educational institution will have to get the prescribed consent form from the parents of the students. For students who do not engage in classroom education, the existing system of online classes will have to be continued by the respective institute-schools.
Primary teachers were ordered to attend school
Amid declining corona care in Gujarat, the state education department has started preparations to start primary schools. The director of primary education had ordered all primary teachers to be present in the school from February 9. Until now, teachers on duty in primary schools were called in rotation. But now all the teachers have been called. In addition, all the primary schools have been ordered to work full time instead of morning.
