Summary:
A new initiative called "Namo" has been launched in Gujarat - a new way of modern education through tablets. Only 1000 tablets are provided. The scheme will benefit about 2.5 lakh college students.
The scheme was officially launched on July 13, 2017. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also present on the occasion. The main objective of this project was self-reliance and women empowerment for the youth of the state.

- The Applicant should be permanent resident of State.
- The family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 1 lakh.
- The student must belong to BPL category.
- It is compulsory for a student to pass class 12th in this session.
Note: If the student does not participate in further examinations after the completion of the intermediate examination, then he is not eligible to apply.

Namo Tablet Yojana 2021 Step to Apply Online
Step -1 : Visit the Official Website Namo Tablet Yojana i.e. https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/Tablet.aspx.

The mode of payment will be done through the Netbanking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Paytm and etc. In case, there is no option to pay the Namo Tablet amount, students can deposit the one thousand rupees money at the respective institute or College where the contenders have got the admission.
