Right now the whole world is throbbing with electromagnetic energy. Blue light travels around us, and also through us, in different waves. The wavelength varies from long radio waves, microwaves, infrared and UV waves to shorts in the electromagnetic spectrum to X-rays and gamma rays.

Most electromagnetic waves are invisible. But a small band of waves, known as visible light, can be detected by the human eye. Visible light waves vary in length from 380 nanometers (violet light) to 700 nanometers (red light).

The longer the wave, the less energy it transmits. Blue light has very short, high waves. In fact, they are slightly longer and less powerful than ultraviolet (UV) waves (which is too short for people to see with the naked eye). Health experts have warned against the harmful effects of UV rays, which can damage your skin and your eyes. High-blue energy blue light waves are almost powerful.

Scientists at the University of Toledo have discovered ... how blue light emitted from electric items can lead to macular degeneration - one of the leading causes of vision loss in the United States.

"It's no secret that blue light damages your retina by damaging the retina of the eye," Ajit Karunaratne, an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Toledo, said in a statement.

Macular degeneration is the result of photoreceptor cell death in the retina.

The function of photoreceptor cells is to obtain visual images and signal them to the brain using a molecule known as the retina.

The retina, which is produced by the eye, is stimulated by blue light and causes various chemical reactions. These reactions inside the eye can be toxic to photoreceptor cell molecules. Which hurts them. These photoreceptor cells do not become new once they die.

However, extended exposure to waves transmitted by screen devices during the evening can disrupt biological processes and can have health effects in a variety of ways, including sleep disturbances in general.

  • Blue-cut filter glasses should be worn ( બ્લુ-કટ ફિલ્ટર ચશ્મા પહેરવા જોઈએ. ).


To protect your eyes from the damage of the blue light, set the following in your mobile (વાદળી(બ્લુ) લાઈટના નુકસાનથી આંખોને બચાવવા માટે આપના  મોબાઈલમાં આ મુજબ સેટિંગ કરી દો ).
  • Unlock your mobile (તમારો મોબાઈલ અનલોક કરો ).
  • Scroll the screen of the mobile from top to bottom (મોબાઈલની સ્ક્રીનને ઉપરથી નીચે તરફ સ્ક્રોલ કરો).
  • This wise option will be seen (આ મુજબના ઓપ્સન જોવા મળશે).

  • In this, according to the mobile of your different company, turn on Reading mode or Eye comfort shield (આમાં આપના જુદીજુદી કંપનીના મોબાઈલ મુજબ Reading mode (રીડિંગ મોડ) અથવા Eye comfort shield આ સેટિંગ ઓન કરી દો).

  • Now your cell phone has blue light-cut filter i.e. blue light protected (હવે આપનો સેલ ફોન બ્લુ લાઈટ-કટ ફિલ્ટર એટલે કે વાદળી(બ્લુ) લાઈટ પ્રોટેકટેડ થઇ ગયો છે).
