Advertisement of free ST pass for students of Gujarat: Mayur Makadia, Gandhinagar: Millions of students in the state come to GSRTC to travel and study in school and college. Gujarat State ST Corporation provides pass facility for such students at concessional rates. However, the Bhupendra Patel government (CM Bhupendra Patel) has come up with a big gift for such students in the state. 12 lakh students of the state will be given free pass of Gujarat STNO (GSTC) for coming and going for study.
Free Benefit of Gujarat ST Bus: 12 lakh students of the state have been given the gift of free ST bus pass for commuting for study for short and long routes. The Bhupendra Patel government has made this provision in the budget for the students of the state.

State Transport Minister Purnesh Modi said that students from rural areas have been considered in this budget. If we talk about the world of education, now the hunger of the student is open. Now every student wants to make his own career. Urban students get facility but rural student does not get facility. Free ST pass will be arranged for such students.
⇛ When will students get this benefit?
Students of the state will be given the benefit of this free bus pass from the next academic session. How to avail the benefit of this pass will be planned and announced by the Department of Vehicle Transactions in the coming days. For now, the announcement is good news for students.

⇛ Free Pass to Student: GSRTC Commuter Pass Service of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation:
Students will get a pass by paying 5 days rent out of 30 days. They will need a receipt for their school or college fees. They will then have to fill up the form given at the pass counter along with passport size photos. They will get pass and ID card from GSRTC immediately. To renew the pass they just need to submit the old pass and get a new one. When the validity of the pass expires, they need to renew the pass within 3 days, otherwise they need to repeat the whole process. Girls from villages under certain panchayats get free student pass.
GSRTC Commuter Pass Service for Gurjar Nagari: This is costliest pass. The buses of long distance are given a name of Gurjar Nagari. Even fewer crowds even better facilities than both others.
