Who can apply for Agnivir Vayu in the Air Force? :
  •  To apply for Agnivir in the Indian Air Force, you need at least 50% marks in 12th with Maths, Physics and English. Candidates who have passed 3 years Engineering Diploma or 2 Vocational Courses can also apply.
  • Candidates should have passed the Intermediate / 10 + 2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from the Board of Education listed as a COBSE member with at least 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English.
  • A three year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a government recognized polytechnic with a total of 50% marks in Diploma course and 50% marks in English. If there is no English subject in the course).
  • Passed a two-year vocational course with a non-professional subject such as. Physics and Mathematics from the State Board of Education which is listed in COBSE with 50% marks in total and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matric, if English is not a subject in vocational course).
  • Passed equivalent examination in any subject recognized by Central / State Board of Education listed as Intermediate / 10 + 2 / COBSE
  • Member with at least 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English.

The general mandatory medical standards for Agniveer Vayu are as follows. :
  1. Height: The minimum allowable height is 152.5 cm
  2. Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
  3. Weight: In proportion to height and age.
  4. Corneal surgery (PRK / LASIK) is not acceptable. Visual requirements applicable as per Indian Air Force standards.
  5. Hearing: The candidate should have normal hearing i.e. should be able to hear the sound forcibly from a distance of 6 meters from each ear separately.
  6. Dental: Must have healthy gums, good set of teeth and at least 14 dental points.
  7. General Health: Candidate should have normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. It should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin diseases. The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

For which posts will be recruited under Agneepath Yojana? :

Recruitment will be based on merit for all the above posts.

According to the notification, the entire recruitment will be based on merit on the available vacancies. Only candidates who pass the recruitment process will be recruited into the Army. Candidates who do not appear on merit will not have any right to claim. It has also been stated that candidates who do not have the required certificate will be responsible for rejection.




Approximately 46000 posts will be recruited under the ambitious recruitment program under the Agneepath scheme of the Government of India - 2022. Application form will be available from 1st July 2022. In addition, the date of examination for Agneepath Recruitment Scheme 2022 will be announced later.


The salary under Agneepath scheme will be as follows:
Candidates will be recruited for 4 years as per the notification issued. During this time you will also get 30 days off each year. 30,000 salaries and allowances in the first year of service, 33,000 salaries and allowances in the second year, 36,500 salaries and allowances in the third year and 40,000 salaries and allowances in the last year.

Eligibility as per post for recruitment of Agneepath Yojana:
  • Candidates for recruitment to the post of General Duty are required to pass Std. 10 with 45%.
  • For the position of Technical Aviation and Ammunition, 12th pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English is required.
  • Candidates for the post of Clerk / Storekeeper are required to have 12th pass with 60% in any stream. Must be 50% in English and Maths.
  • 10th and 8th standard pass will be recruited separately for the post of Tradesman. 33 percent in all subjects is mandatory.
  • The prescribed age limit for all the posts is 17 years to 23 years.

In order to meet the shortage of teachers in Std. 1 to 8 in government and grant aided primary schools, Std. 9 and 10 in secondary schools and in Std. 11 and 12 in higher secondary schools, the government has implemented a scheme of traveling teachers on temporary basis. The DEO-DPO in the district allows schools to hire traveling teachers on a temporary basis as per requirement.

For Gujarat Primary Education, Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education, a scheme has been implemented to provide education with honorarium per student so that the teaching work of the students does not stop until the posts of sanctioned teachers in government and subsidized schools are filled with regular teachers. I.e. a traveling teacher. The term of the scheme was extended till the end of the academic year 2021/22 and the maximum daily honorarium per hour was revised. The scheme has been extended for more time to ensure that the vacancies of teachers in the primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of the state are not filled by regular teachers so as not to affect the studies of the students. The government was also considering improving the standard of pay per hour in government, non-government, subsidized secondary and higher secondary schools in the state.

Matter of extending the term of the traveling teacher scheme for conducting education work from honorarium per hour and improving the honorarium per hour.

In the wider interest of students' study at the end of adult consideration, the vacancies of sanctioned teachers in government and subsidized schools for education in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of the state should be filled with regular make-up till the completion of 2022 academic year and state government, The Government has thus approved the following revision of daily honorarium in non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools

A number of representations were made to the government by teachers from the board of directors to increase the monthly salary of these traveling teachers and recently the government also announced that the honorarium of traveling teachers would be increased. Has arrived.




⇒  Where there is no tas system in primary education, the maximum daily wage will be Rs. 510 as shown in the resolution dated 20/10/2021. The monthly honorarium in secondary education will not exceed Rs. 10500 / -.

⇒  The limit of higher monthly honorarium in secondary education will not exceed Rs. 16500 / -.

⇒  The limit of higher monthly honorarium in higher secondary education will not exceed Rs. 16700 / -.




The required amount for this scheme will have to be provided within the limits of the budget ceiling allotted to the department for the year 2022/23 under the relevant budget head. The head of the department concerned will be responsible for arranging the required grant for the period after 31/03/2023 in the next financial year 2023/24.

⇒  Apart from this, the provisions of 21/12/2015 and other resolutions of the department from time to time will remain the same.



The government has finally increased the honorarium monthly salary for traveling teachers in schools from primary to higher secondary in the state. Now the traveling teacher will be paid an honorary monthly salary with an increase of Rs 3,000. According to the new pay structure, a traveling teacher in primary education will get Rs 10,500, a secondary teacher Rs 16,500 and a higher secondary teacher Rs 16,700. A look at the recruitment of traveling teachers :
⇒  There will be no written order to assign work to a traveling teacher
The government said in a notification that no leave could be given to traveling teachers for ongoing academic work. 

⇒  According to the resolution of the education department, where there is no tas system, the maximum salary is Rs. 510 and not more than Rs. 10,500 per month.

⇒  In primary school, traveling teachers will have to work for as many days as the school is running and will be paid for the same number of days.

⇒  Following the government's decision to open all schools and colleges in the state completely offline, the government is now taking important decisions regarding the number of teachers and their workforce to ensure smooth functioning of education.

⇒  Following the state government's decision to start direct education after the Covid-19 situation, an order has been issued to immediately appoint 10,000 traveling teachers in government and grant-in-aid primary schools so that the education work of students is not hampered due to vacancies in primary schools.



⇒  The government has approved the recruitment of temporary traveling teachers for more than 60% of the posts against the demand of the teachers' union. A total of 2043 traveling teachers were sought across the state for Std. 1 to 5 classes against which 1173 places have been sanctioned by the government and on the opposite side.
The government has sanctioned recruitment of 376 traveling teachers against a total of 653 demands for Std. 6th to 8th classes, i.e. against a total of 2696 vacancies across the state, the government has sanctioned 1549 vacancies.
