Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2022/23 : National Means Come Merit Scholarship (N.M.M.S) scheme for students studying in Class – 8 with an aim to enable bright students from poor economic status in the state to complete their studies up to Class 12 and reduce the drop out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools. Implemented by Ministry of Education Government of India. The examination will be conducted by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar in the near future to select the beneficiary students.

Gujarat SEB NMMS Exam 2022-Apply Online, Gujarat SEB NMMS Notification 2022: State Board of Education (SEB), Gandhinagar has issued notification for scholarship for NMMS (National i.e. Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme). Eligible candidates can apply online from 10-11-2022. By 05-11-2022. Candidates are advised to visit the official notice before applying. Various new works are being done by Nagar Primary Education Committee Surat.  The name of Nagar Primary Education Committee Surat is proud in the entire education world of Gujarat due to the joint efforts of all.  The importance of N.M.M.S Scholarships and how useful Scholarships are for children when visiting the homes of meritorious children in the N.M.M.S Examination and visiting the children’s homes at the time of distribution of certificates.  

This incident has inspired me to write this book.  An attempt has been made by the Nagar Primary Education Committee, Surat to prepare a booklet to provide accurate guidance to the students preparing for the N.M.M.S examination.  This book has been prepared as a result of the enthusiasm shown by the nodal officers, inspectors, principals and teachers of N.M.M.S, which will be useful not only to the students of Surat but also to the students of Gujarat as a whole.

  • Gujarat NMMS Scholarship Exam-2022/23 Eligibility
  • Students studying in Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools and Granted Schools in Class 8 this year will be able to take the NMMS exam.
  • General and OBC category students should have secured 55% marks in class 7th and SC and ST students should have secured 50% marks in class 7th.

  • The income limit of the guardian should not exceed Rs.3,50,000 as fixed for the NMMS examination.

An online class is offered by GIET (Gujarat Institute Of Educational Technology) via YouTube for students who want to take the NMMS exam. NMMS students can view this online class every day and also take the exam through Google form.

NMMS ની પરીક્ષા આપવા માંગતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે GIET(Gujarat Institute Of Educational Technology) દ્વારા ઓનલાઈન ક્લાસ યુટુબ દ્વારા મુકવામાં આવે છે. NMMS ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દરરોજ આ ઓનલાઈન ક્લાસ નિહાળી તેનો ગુગલ ફોર્મ દ્વારા પરીક્ષા પણ આપી શકે છે.

   So guys, get ready. From today we have to play Quiz in video also. You will be able to practice by giving your answer in google form.
There will be a daily online class link as well as a Google link for the test. By which you will be able to practice at any time you feel free.


Many schemes are being implemented by the Government of Gujarat for all the people of the state. In which scholarships will be given to students studying in standard 8.

This Scholarship has recently been announced in the State by the State Examination Board Gandhinagar. So let us know the information about this scholarship

After the examination of this scholarship, the students coming in merit in the district-wise category-wise quota will be eligible to receive Rs. 12,000 / - for 12 months at the rate of Rs. 1,000 / - per month. Eligible students will be eligible for this amount for four years.

Students who are studying in Std. 8 will be able to apply in this scheme. They are eligible to get this scholarship till they study up to Std. 12 in which they get a total scholarship of Rs. 48,000 / -. And money received by the Ministry of Development (MHRD) which is deposited directly in the bank account of the beneficiary student.

NMMS Gujarat - 2022 Exam Structure:
  • The MAT Intellectual Aptitude Test consists of 90 questions of verbal and non-verbal logical calculation. The questions will include Analogy, Classification, Numerical Series, Pattern Perception, Hidden Figure etc. .
  • Mathematics, Science and Social Science subjects of Std-7 and Std-8 are kept in 90 questions of SAT Educational Aptitude Test.
  • Last year's syllabus will be for Std-7.
  • The syllabus of the first semester of the current year is kept for Std-8.
  • The medium of this examination will be in both English and Gujarati language.
  • This exam (MCQ) will be a multiple choice exam.
  • There will not be any negative marks in this exam i.e. there is no Negative Marking in this exam.
  • In this exam, blind students will be given 30 minutes more time than the exam time.

Scholarships will be paid to eligible students as per the guidelines of MHRD through the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India (MHRD), New Delhi.  Scholarship amount !!!  MHRD payment directly in the bank account of the beneficiary students through the National Scholarship Portal.

⇒  National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS)

he Centrally Sponsored Scheme “National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)” was launched in May, 2008. The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class VIII and encourage them to continue the study at secondary stage. Scholarship of Rs. 6000/- per annum (Rs.500/- per month) per student is awarded to selected students every year for study in classes from IX to XII in State Government,

Government aided and local body Government schools. There is quota of scholarships for different states/UTs. Students whose parental income from all sources is not more than Rs. 1,50,000/- are eligible to avail the scholarships. There is reservation as per State Government norms. The selection of students award of the scholarships is made through an examination conducted by the State Governments. Scholarships are disbursed by the State Bank of India directly into the bank accounts of students on



⇒  Scholarship amount and payment rules:  
After the examination, the students who come in merit in the district-wise quota will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.  1000 / – per annum for Rs.  Scholarships are eligible for students with fixed eligibility for the year as per 12000 / -.
