Deadline: 05 July 2022. Unmarried male Indian citizens (also eligible citizens of Nepal) are eligible to appear for the selection test to be held from 24th July 2022.Agniveer in the Air Force has given all the information about how to apply for recruitment, selection, registration.

What is the application fee for Air Force Agniveer Air Recruitment? :
 After filling up the form for online registration for Agniveer Vayu Recruitment, Rs. An application fee of Rs. 250 / - will also have to be submitted. For more information, candidates can view the instruction on the official website of Indian Army joinindianarmy.nic.in.


What is the age limit for Agnivir Vayu? :
Candidates should be above 17.5 years of age and below 23 years of age. Previously this age limit was between 17.5 years and 21 years.



Who can apply for Agnivir Vayu in the Air Force? :
  •  To apply for Agnivir in the Indian Air Force, you need at least 50% marks in 12th with Maths, Physics and English. Candidates who have passed 3 years Engineering Diploma or 2 Vocational Courses can also apply.
  • Candidates should have passed the Intermediate / 10 + 2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from the Board of Education listed as a COBSE member with at least 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English.
  • A three year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a government recognized polytechnic with a total of 50% marks in Diploma course and 50% marks in English. If there is no English subject in the course).
  • Passed a two-year vocational course with a non-professional subject such as. Physics and Mathematics from the State Board of Education which is listed in COBSE with 50% marks in total and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matric, if English is not a subject in vocational course).
  • Passed equivalent examination in any subject recognized by Central / State Board of Education listed as Intermediate / 10 + 2 / COBSE
  • Member with at least 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English.

The recruitment of firefighters in the Indian Air Force will last for four years. Salary will start from 30 thousand in the first year of recruitment, 33 thousand in the second year, 36 thousand in the third year and 40 thousand in the fourth year.

The general mandatory medical standards for Agniveer Vayu are as follows. :
  1. Height: The minimum allowable height is 152.5 cm
  2. Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
  3. Weight: In proportion to height and age.
  4. Corneal surgery (PRK / LASIK) is not acceptable. Visual requirements applicable as per Indian Air Force standards.
  5. Hearing: The candidate should have normal hearing i.e. should be able to hear the sound forcibly from a distance of 6 meters from each ear separately.
  6. Dental: Must have healthy gums, good set of teeth and at least 14 dental points.
  7. General Health: Candidate should have normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. It should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin diseases. The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Agneepath Yojana:
The Indian Army has issued Agniveer Recruitment Rally Notification for the recruitment of firefighters under the Government of India's ambitious noble scheme Agneepath. Recruitment Scheme under this Agneepath Scheme is a recruitment scheme of the Government of New India for youth seeking Government jobs in the Indian Air Force, Indian Army and Indian Navy. The Agneepath Army Recruitment Scheme is a Central Government Scheme for every young Indian candidate. Our Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh has announced the 'Agneepath' scheme to recruit soldiers in the Indian Army for a period of 4 years. He said the Cabinet Committee on Defense has taken a big decision to make the Indian Army the best army in the world.

For which posts will be recruited under Agneepath Yojana? :

Recruitment will be based on merit for all the above posts.

According to the notification, the entire recruitment will be based on merit on the available vacancies. Only candidates who pass the recruitment process will be recruited into the Army. Candidates who do not appear on merit will not have any right to claim. It has also been stated that candidates who do not have the required certificate will be responsible for rejection.




Approximately 46000 posts will be recruited under the ambitious recruitment program under the Agneepath scheme of the Government of India - 2022. Application form will be available from 1st July 2022. In addition, the date of examination for Agneepath Recruitment Scheme 2022 will be announced later.


The salary under Agneepath scheme will be as follows:
Candidates will be recruited for 4 years as per the notification issued. During this time you will also get 30 days off each year. 30,000 salaries and allowances in the first year of service, 33,000 salaries and allowances in the second year, 36,500 salaries and allowances in the third year and 40,000 salaries and allowances in the last year.

Eligibility as per post for recruitment of Agneepath Yojana:
  • Candidates for recruitment to the post of General Duty are required to pass Std. 10 with 45%.
  • For the position of Technical Aviation and Ammunition, 12th pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English is required.
  • Candidates for the post of Clerk / Storekeeper are required to have 12th pass with 60% in any stream. Must be 50% in English and Maths.
  • 10th and 8th standard pass will be recruited separately for the post of Tradesman. 33 percent in all subjects is mandatory.
  • The prescribed age limit for all the posts is 17 years to 23 years.

After independence and the partition of India in 1947, the newly formed British Indian Army was divided between the newly formed Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Indian Army was established when India gained independence in 1947 and inherited most of the structures of the British Indian Army based in post-partition India. This is a voluntary service, and although the agreement on compulsory recruitment of the army exists in the Indian Constitution, it has never been implemented. Since independence, the army has been involved in four wars with our neighbor Pakistan and once with the People's Republic of China. Other major operations undertaken by the Army include Operation Victory, Operation Meghdoot and Operation Cricket. Apart from these fights, the military is an active part of the United Nations' goal of maintaining peace. The President of India leads as part of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army. The Chief of Army Staff, COAF, General, is the four-star commander who commands and controls the army. There has never been a general in the army who served more than one duty at a time. Two officers are awarded the rank of Field Marshal, one of which is a five-star rank, and these officers are at the forefront of military etiquette.
With about 1,414,000 active-duty troops [1] and about 1,800,000 reserve troops, the Indian Army is the world's second largest active-duty force and the world's largest in terms of land population. [2] By 2020, the Indian Army will have 4,000 T.I. 72 is planning to add more than 2500 T-90s and a few thousand tanks.
