What is the happy news for the farmers of the state?
The Gujarat government has announced a smartphone assistance scheme for farmers in Gujarat. In which the government will provide assistance of Rs. 1500 to the farmers of Gujarat for the purchase of mobile smartphones. According to which farmers will be paid assistance up to a maximum of Rs. 1500 for purchase of smart phones. This is a plan of the Gujarat government to make the slogan of Digital India meaningful. However, only one lakh farmers will benefit from this scheme.

According to the details received, farmers will be entitled to pay 10% of the price of the phone or Rs 1,500 whichever is less. That is, if a farmer buys a smart phone worth Rs. But if you buy a smartphone worth more than Rs 15,000, you will get a maximum of Rs 1,500. The state government has provided Rs 15 crore for this scheme. According to him, out of the total 50 lakh farmer account holders registered in the state, only 1 lakh farmers will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The number of farmers in Gujarat to avail the benefit of mobile phone scheme will also be decided district wise according to ProReta. In case of joint account, only one farmer account holder will be given the benefit of this assistance scheme. Farmers will have to apply online for this assistance on i-farmer portal. Only then will the applicant farmers have to print out the application and keep it with them. Farmers will be able to purchase smart phones within 15 days of the aid being approved. Then the original bill with the GST number of the mobile (confirmed), IMEI number of the mobile (IMEI NO.), Copy of 8-ani, canceled check and copy of Aadhar card will have to be submitted. Assistance amount will be directly deposited in the bank account of farmers by Gujarat State Seed Corporation. If the application is passed, the new smart phone will be available within 15 days.



The government's scheme will provide relief to farmers to buy Android smartphones. So farmers will be able to do some online operations themselves so that digitization will gain momentum. So farmers in the state will be able to use facilities like Bhim UPI, money transfer, electricity bill payment, DTH, Metro and mobile recharge, Paytm.

How to apply for i Khedut Yojana 2021 ???

Government of Gujrat has introduced I- Khedut Yojna for view to helping farmers of gujarat with better agriculture growth. First of all meet the computer operator of the village panchayat of your village to apply online application. 


Following are Necessity Document for I Khedut yojna.

  • 8 / A new original
  • Bank pass book xerox or cancel check xerox
  • Aadhar card xerox
  • Caste Certificate xerox for a Scheduled Caste farmer only
  • Attach these all documents and do signature on it and give it to the Gram Sevak.
At the right corner of the application you will see the Name of the farmer where write the name of the applicant. at the under the row write down your mobile number. The farmers should have to submit all the evidence required for registration in the scheme, it is compulsory. If the farmers didn’t submit the required evidence then your application will be rejected and registration must cancelled automatically. After applying application for the I Khedut yojna, will be able to buy it from a valid company dealer only. The Gram Sevak has to be deposited application with till date 7 after the online application made. The farmers who have availed subsidy of the equipment, will should not apply for the I Khedut yojna. Otherwise the farmers should be apply in I khedut yojna to the computer. The farmers who want to take that tool they should applying for the I khedut yojna.
