My Ration App has been launched by Mandya, a consumer case, food and public services provider and is part of the Government of India's One National One Ration Card (ONRC). Modi Government launches Mera Ration App How to Use It: The Government of India has launched the Mera Ration Android mobile app under the Digital India program. Central Foods and Consumer Monitoring This app is currently launched for Android users. This app will benefit 69 ration card holders in the country.
Under the government's "One Country, One Ration Card" scheme, this app can be used for Food PDS (Public Distribution System) of 32 States and Union Territories of the country.
The Mera Ration mobile app will also benefit all the 69 crore customers who come under the National Food Security Act. Grain is provided to these consumers at the rate of Rs. 1 to 3 per kg.
My Ration App
This app has been developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC). Through this app, customers will be able to get information about the price of grain available at the nearest ration shops and the grain available on the ration card. This app is currently available in two languages Hindi and English. It will support 14 languages in the coming days. The size of this app on Google Play Store is 24MB and it has been downloaded by over 1 lakh people so far.
Benefits of the app
The biggest benefit of this app will be to those who are working in a state other than their own. Suppose, your ration card is from Bihar and you are working in metros like Delhi or Mumbai, then you can get your ration by locating the nearest ration shops through this mobile app. Due to the government's 'One Nation, One Ration Card' scheme, ration cards can be used anywhere in any state.
Use it like this :
- - You need to download the app from Google Play Store to use this app.
- - After downloading the app, you have to grant it necessary permission like location etc.
- - After giving permission, you have to choose the language of the app. After selecting the language, you have to register in the app by entering your ration card number.
- - You can get all the information about how much grain you have got on the ration card and how much is left through this app. For this you have to enter your Aadhaar number or ration card by tapping on “know your entitlement”.
The One Nation One Ration Card system covers nearly one crore National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries in the country. The scheme has proved to be an invaluable value-added service for every NFSA beneficiary, especially migrants, during the COVID-19 epidemic, as it has been allowed to benefit from subsidized grain.
Currently 32 States / UTs are covered under One Nation One Ration Card and integration of the remaining States / UTs is expected to be completed in the next few months.
