When the teacher conveys the content of the textbook to the mind of the student, indirectly many values, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, likes and dislikes also reach the mind of the student and some of them become permanent in the mind of the student. Since the textbook is an important factor in educating the student holistically, the content of the textbook is expected to lead the student's mind and lead to neutral, creative, contemplative or critical thinking.
