Agneepath Yojana:
The Indian Army has issued Agniveer Recruitment Rally Notification for the recruitment of firefighters under the Government of India's ambitious noble scheme Agneepath. Recruitment Scheme under this Agneepath Scheme is a recruitment scheme of the Government of New India for youth seeking Government jobs in the Indian Air Force, Indian Army and Indian Navy. The Agneepath Army Recruitment Scheme is a Central Government Scheme for every young Indian candidate. Our Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh has announced the 'Agneepath' scheme to recruit soldiers in the Indian Army for a period of 4 years. He said the Cabinet Committee on Defense has taken a big decision to make the Indian Army the best army in the world.
For which posts will be recruited under Agneepath Yojana? :
Agniveer Technical (Aviation / Ammunition)
Agniveer General Duty
Agniveer Clark / Storekeeper Technical
Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass
Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass
Recruitment will be based on merit for all the above posts.
According to the notification, the entire recruitment will be based on merit on the available vacancies. Only candidates who pass the recruitment process will be recruited into the Army. Candidates who do not appear on merit will not have any right to claim. It has also been stated that candidates who do not have the required certificate will be responsible for rejection.

Approximately 46000 posts will be recruited under the ambitious recruitment program under the Agneepath scheme of the Government of India - 2022. Application form will be available from 1st July 2022. In addition, the date of examination for Agneepath Recruitment Scheme 2022 will be announced later.
The salary under Agneepath scheme will be as follows:
Candidates will be recruited for 4 years as per the notification issued. During this time you will also get 30 days off each year. 30,000 salaries and allowances in the first year of service, 33,000 salaries and allowances in the second year, 36,500 salaries and allowances in the third year and 40,000 salaries and allowances in the last year.
Allowances
Risk and hardship, rations, dress, travel allowances apply.
Service fund
30% monthly wage contributed by individual.The same amount contributed by the government.
Approximately Rs. Rs 11.71 lakh will be given after four years, exemption from income tax.
Death compensation
Rs. 48 lakh non-contributory life insurance cover.
Extra ex gratia for death due to Rs 44 lakh service.
Pay for the unused portion for up to four years, including the 'service fund' component.
Disability compensation
% Compensation based on disability as determined by medical authorities.
One time grace for 100% / 75% / 50% disability Rs. 44/25/15 lakhs respectively
Important information :
Eligibility as per post for recruitment of Agneepath Yojana:
- Candidates for recruitment to the post of General Duty are required to pass Std. 10 with 45%.
- For the position of Technical Aviation and Ammunition, 12th pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English is required.
- Candidates for the post of Clerk / Storekeeper are required to have 12th pass with 60% in any stream. Must be 50% in English and Maths.
- 10th and 8th standard pass will be recruited separately for the post of Tradesman. 33 percent in all subjects is mandatory.
- The prescribed age limit for all the posts is 17 years to 23 years.

Holders of NCC Certificate under Agneepath Scheme will get Bonus Marks:
Holders of NCC A certificate will get 05 bonus marks for recruitment to all the posts. NCC B certificate holders will get 10 bonus marks while NCC C certificate holders will get 15 bonus marks. Holders of NCC C Certificate for Agniveer General Duty and Clerk / Storekeeper post will be exempted from CEE (Common Entrance Exam).
