This amount of 6000 rupees is sent in three installments of 2000 thousand rupees in a year. Farmers say the amount is too small for their needs. According to the information provided on the scheme's website, more than 11.47 crore farmers have so far benefited from the scheme.

It may be mentioned that in PM Kisan Sanman Yojana, the central government transfers this money in three installments. The first installment comes from December 1 to March 31, while the second installment comes from April 1 to July 31 and the third installment comes from August 1 to November 30.
Under this scheme Rs.6000 is given annually in three installments. So far 7 installments have been sent to farmers. In the last six weeks, the central government has provided direct assistance of over Rs 95 crore to 11.17 crore farmers.

The benefit of PM Kisan Yojana will be available to farmers who have less than 2 hectares of land. Farmers need to have Aadhaar card, bank account and mobile number. Although the first installment will be paid to him even without Aadhar card, but then he will have to give the information of Aadhar card, only then he will get further benefit. Scavengers have to register for the scheme. The farmer will also have to submit an affidavit to avail the benefits of the scheme. And they will be charged for giving false information.

The benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will not be available to people whose family members are MPs, MLAs or in government jobs. Not only this, the benefit of this scheme will not be available to the people who have paid income tax in the last financial year. Apart from this, the government has also excluded from the scheme those people who work professionally and come under the purview of income tax. This includes doctors, lawyers, engineers, CAs, architects, and other professionals who do not benefit.
Farmers who are currently in the constitutional position or have been in the past will not get the benefit of this scheme. At present, the district panchayat chairman and the mayor have also been excluded from the scheme. At the same time, the minister will not get the benefit of this scheme. Except for the fourth category, government employees will not get this benefit. People receiving a monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 are also excluded from the scheme.

Procedure for offline application of this scheme:
Farmers wishing to avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will have to submit the following proofs.
- 1. Self-certified copy of Aadhaar card
- 2. Account details of the farmer account holder
- 3. Information including bank passbook / bank account number and IFSC code
- 4. Supporting evidence, including the affidavit
