☀️ GIET_GCERT Gandhinagar: GIET અને GCERT દ્વારા આયોજિત શ્રેણી ગ્રીષ્મોત્સવ- 2022
GIET and GCERT-Summer Festival starting from 1st May 2022 (Gujarat Foundation Day) to 5th June 2022 (World Environment Day) for 36 consecutive days.
GIET અને GCERT ગાંધીનગર દ્વારા આયોજિત શ્રેણી ગ્રીષ્મોત્સવ (Summer Festival)- 2022 1 લી મે 2022 (ગુજરાત સ્થાપના દિન) થી શરૂ કરી 5 મી જૂન 2022 (વિશ્વ પર્યાવરણ દિન) સુધી સતત 36 દિવસ સુધી આ કાર્યક્રમ ચાલશે.

GIET was established in April 1984 under the INSAT project. GIET has been registered as an independent organization on the 13th of December 1994 under the Registration of Societies Act-1860.
The institute was started on small-scale bases at a temporary studio in the polytechnic hostel building at Ahmedabad. Subsequently, the essential resources were obtained, the staff was supplemented, technical training was provided to the staff members and other initial steps were taken.
The production of the programmes began in December 1985. The institute moved to its present studio premises subsequently. All the essential resources for the studio were provided to the institute by the government of India. The entire progress of the institute has been the result of valuable guidance from CIET New Delhi and NCERT New Delhi.
GIET is partly funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The government of Gujarat provides the majority of financial support from 2003 to 04.
The government of Gujarat, Education Department supervises the administration of the institute. The Governing Body and the Executive Committee are responsible for supervising the general activities and policies of the institute.
The institute is geared to develop educational delivery systems with the changing times. Producing more quality programmes on subjects like Education, Forest, Health and Panchayat. GIET intends to broadcast programmes on private channels.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or GSEB is a government of Gujarat body responsible for determining the policy-related, administrative, cognitive, and intellectual direction the state’s secondary and higher secondary educational system takes.
The main responsibilities of the Board include academics, conducting examinations and research and development. The board is responsible for the registration and administration of higher secondary and secondary schools in the state of Gujarat.
GIET also Providing Smartboards to government Schools. They also provided laptops in which the Gyankunj project’s videos are preloaded. they also provided VCDs to the primary schools / CRCS to build an educational video library. The institute plans to distribute 1000 TV sets and 1000 DVD/ CD players to the primary schools of the state in the next Five Year Plan.
At present, the institute owns resources like a digital vision mixer, digital non-linear editing set-up, and digital intercom. The institute intends to convert the rest of the studio resources into a digital format.
