The government does various development works for the convenience of the people, but does it benefit the people or not? Kutch is the largest district of Gujarat. And Bhuj, the headquarters of Kutch. Samaras Hostels have been started in the following cities in the state of Gujarat with the objective that even students from remote areas can get good education by staying in hostels. In which boys and girls can get education by paying very meager fees.


Students from the hinterland of Abadsa, Rapar and Lakhpat come to Bhuj to pursue higher education. And to provide them with the best accommodation, the government has built a huge Samaras hostel in Bhuj at a cost of Rs 30 crore. A hostel where up to 500 students can stay and study.

Students with 50% or more marks in Std. 12 for all undergraduate level courses and 50% or more marks in undergraduate courses for postgraduate courses can apply and admission will be given on merit basis.

Samaras Hostel Admission 2021 Students placed on the Provisional Merit List will have to verify the original certificates before getting admission in the Samaras Hostel. Students will be informed about this through SMS and E-MAIL.

If there is a discrepancy between the percentage filled in the online form of an applicant and the percentage of the original marksheet and the certificates of eligibility, the admission of such applicants will be canceled

The right to admission cannot be claimed on the basis of the online application made by the applicant. Admission to Samaras Hostel will be given on the basis of rules laid down by the Government's Health Department, Education Department as well as the Government.

Rural students will be able to apply online for admission through e-Gram.
About Samaras Chatralay Society

The Government of Gujarat has established “Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society” in September 2016 under Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
The society shall function as an institutional arrangement at district level for providing facilities to students of all caste - SC/ST/OBC/EBC.

“All Caste under one roof” is our main motto.
To create “New INDIA” with great compatibility, coherence and interaction among all caste and create an ideal community in the society is the objective of samras hostels.
Separate quota for Person with Disability, Child of Widow, Orphan and Backword among SC,ST OBC community.

The whole world was worried about the terrible global epidemic of Covid-19 (Corona). Then how to stop the spread of infectious corona. For that many countries of the world including India implemented a total lockdown to stop the corona.
   On March 24, 2020, the Government of India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ordered a 21-day nationwide lockdown to limit the movement of India's entire 1.3 billion population as a precautionary measure against the Kovid-19 epidemic.
   The order was issued after a 14-hour voluntary public curfew on March 22, after which a series of rules were enforced in the COVID-19 affected regions of the country. The lockdown was carried out when the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in India was around 500. Observers said

On May 1, the Government of India extended the nationwide lockdown for two weeks until May 17. The government divided all the districts into three zones based on the spread of viruses like green, red and orange. According to which concessions have been applied. It was later announced that the lockdown restrictions would be lifted, while the current lockdown would be extended to June 30 for content zones only. Services will be launched in phases from June 8. This is known as "Unlock 1.0". Modi later clarified that the lockdown phase in the country was over and it had begun to 'unlock'. The second phase of Unlock 2.0 was announced for the period from 1 to 31 July with more ease in the restrictions of Unlock 2.0. Unlock August was announced for August. Similarly, August September was announced for September and Unlock 5.0 for the month of October. Similarly, Unlock 6.0 was announced for the month of November, Unlock 7.0 was announced for the month of December, Unlock 8.0 was announced for the month of January, and Unlock 9.0 was announced for the month of February.

An online education system has been set up for all students by the state education department and Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training (GCERT) Gandhinagar so that the education of the students of the state is not affected and they can be imparted education at home.
