Education Minister announces immediate recruitment of 10,000 Pravasi teachers so that permanent recruitment is not required
Immediate Pravasi teachers will be appointed to ensure that education does not stop due to vacancies in schools
Following the completion of the third wave of Corona, the state government has decided to start complete offline teaching in all school-colleges from Monday. However, it has been decided to immediately appoint 10,000 Pravasi teachers in government and grant aided primary schools so that the teaching work of students is not hampered due to vacancies in primary schools.
Provision of Rs.10.50 crore has been made for appointment of teachers.Education Minister Jitu Waghan tweeted about this. He said the decision would be useful in improving the quality of education in schools in the hinterland. As well as candidates with suitable qualifications will be appointed and involved in teaching work. The state government has provided Rs 10.50 crore for this.
With the resolution of the Department of Education, the Government has introduced plans to carry out honorarium education work on honorarium basis till the vacancies of teachers in the government aided primary schools run by the District Town Education Committee are filled regularly. Approval to cut the appointment of honorarium Pravasi teachers per hour for the current academic year 2021/22 by letter. The reference letter of this office instructed all the districts to submit the demand form for filling up of traveling teachers. Considering the demand form received from the district, within the limits of the sanctioned grant received from the education department, according to the attached Annexure 1 to 3, allocation of district wise traveling teachers is made.
District Education Officer District Primary Education Officer Govt. Officer subject to the following conditions. Date: 01/3/2022 to date: 31/3/2022 The appointment of traveling teachers should be done by the concerned District Officer.
- Appointment of traveling teachers in vacant primary schools is sanctioned in the condition of 31 8 21. It will be seen that the number of teachers will not exceed the approved makeup according to the drip.
- At the local level, the head teacher of the school will have to decide on the appointment of a senior teacher of the school and a traveling teacher jointly by the school management committee.
- Mathematics and science teachers should be given priority in primary schools.
- Standard: 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 vacancies will have to be filled by the candidates with the prescribed qualifications. No leave or exemption can be given to the traveling teacher in the current academic work.
- Considering the number of students in the school from standard 1 to 5, if there is a number of students up to 60, a maximum of one traveling teacher has to be appointed.
